This wonderful bowl is 10" across handles, is 9" across bowl, and is 2 1/4" deep. In very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks and hairlines. The wear to the surface glaze (which protects the hand painted image) is minimal - a few, tiny spots which show some rub wear at high points. I tried to capture this in the closeup photos, but it is difficult to see in person, let alone in photos. Also, there is a sprinkling of pin-prick sized glaze pops in the upper field near the top leaf. It carries the cherry blossom mark that was used by Nippon Toki Kasha Company (Noritake Company) for independent companies that subcontracted for the US market - and dates to early 1920s and after 1921 when 'Japan' was used on marks rather than the Japanese name for the country (Nippon.
