SALE Hand Painted Nippon Butter Tub with Lid and Strainer, Sky-Blue and Lavender Flowers & Garlands, Early 1900s

This very pretty set measures 6" across the handles and is 3" deep. In very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. There is a small dimple on the interior of the lefthand handle and a few very tiny, underglaze firing bubbles. The painted flowers and garlands and the gilded finial and handles is minimal - 5-10%. The set carries Van Patten's Mark 7 (T-China E-OH Hand Painted Nippon) and dates to early 1900s, probably ca. 1915.
