SALE 1911 Ryan Winsch Gilded Postcard, Beauty Queen Puts Reality to Dreamer

This card includes the verse, "The 'Four Hundred' was hot on his track: / This he dreamed and much more but Alack. / Stern Reality sot on the foot of his cot / And gently said, turn Kidd 'you're on your back'."

Stamped, canceled and postmarked Mar. 24, 1911 in Moren[ci], Mich. Inked address to Continental, Ohio. The card has a Winsch back and is identified as A-429. It carries the C. Ryan signature on the front. In good condition with minor edge and corner wear, except for a bent tip on the lower righthand corner. There is some irregular tinting on the bottom half over the verse which appears to be due to some kind on moisture and which is visible in the same place on all three cards in this series which I have listed. It hasn't affected the paper's integrity, but I have priced the card accordingly.
