SALE 1912 Ryan Winsch Gilded Postcard, Glamorous Lady Gives the Hook to Loser

The card includes the verse, "He was 'there' with that 'Oh-Kid' look. / He would 'peddle' love talk like a book. / But Alas and By Heck! / when he tried to connect, / They invariably yelled 'Get the Hook'.

Stamped, canceled and postmarked (twice only year date of 1912 legible) in Mallard, Ill. Penciled message includes a date of 2/14/12. The card has a Winsch back and is identified as A-430. It carries the C. Ryan signature on the front. In good condition with minor edge and moderate corner wear and rounding. There is some irregular tinting on the bottom half over the verse which appears to be due to some kind on moisture and which is visible in the same place on all three cards in this series which I have listed. It hasn't affected the paper's integrity, but I have priced the card accordingly. Thanks for visiting!
