The scene on this card is attributed to C. Benesch (or is it Gustav Benesch, the Viennese artist of the late 1900s?) and is entitled, "Alt-Wiener Liebe" and "Stara laska" - Old Viennese Love; that Old Feeling. One can imagine people strolling through the parks, courtyards and beautiful buildings of Vienna - and then...a lady is approached by an old flame who kisses her hand in wistful regret. Perhaps the love will be rekindled...

This unused, divided card is identified as G.G. W. II. No. 187. In good condition with minor edge and moderate corner wear and rounding. There is light soiling along the perimeter. The card has not been trimmed - image was printed slightly off-center. The back is discolored with some kind of scattered reddish ink - possibly staining from being kept in an album or stored atop red paper.
