1910, Hand Tinted Postcard, Beautiful Lady with Lavender Plumed Hat, Blue Roses

The colors on this lovely card are beautiful - the lavender feathers, the medium blue gown, and the midnight blue roses in her light auburn hair. The light touch to the hand-tinting and the finely done ink work on the underlying print all give a nice, soft look to the feathers and wavy hair. The lady's features are detailed - I especially love the tiny heart-shaped mole near her eye!

Stamped, canceled and postmarked Jun. 10, 1910 in Wever, Iowa. Penciled message and address. In very good condition with minimal edge and very minor corner wear. There is very faint smudging in the lefthand corners and a small discoloration on the righthand edge, near the hat brim. Thanks very much for stopping by!
