SALE Nippon Hand Painted Covered Butter Dish, Spring Florals, Ornate Gold Enamel Medallions, Intricate Gold Lattice & Beading, 1911-21

This exquisitely detailed dish stands 3" tall and measures 6 1/2" on the underplate, and 5 1/4" across top. It is in excellent condition with no discernible loss of paint and only minor gold wear along rim (ca. 10%), on handle (ca. 20%) and on the thin, inner gold ring on plate (ca. 30%) . There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing, or loss of beading. It carries Van Patten's green Mark 47 (M-in-wreath [Morimura Bros.], Hand Painted, Nippon).
