Bavarian Emerald-Green 10 1/2" Bowl, with Lavender, Plum and Yellow Pansies, early 1900s

This beautiful bowl features a gorgeous transfer pattern of velvety pansies with handpainted accents (the mixtion technique) to give the petals greater dimension, a deep moss/emerald-green interior that has an appealing ribbed form, and a wide, all-gold rim.

Measures 10 1/2" across and is 3" high. It is slightly pedestaled and designed with a wide flare at the top, making it look bigger than it is. I can not make out the blurred backstamp. I have seen a near identical bowl -- same size, same colors, same pattern -- that is a RS Prussia Tillowitz bowl. Its faded, blue monogram is similar to one for Wessel AG (minus the crown) and one used by Galluta & Hoffman (minus the shield). This is an exceptional item in near flawless condition.
