~ Five-Year Anniversary Sale!~ 10-30% off during May. **Free shipping on non-sale $5 postcards. Thanks to all my customers!
This handpainted Limoges vanity tray is 10 1/2" long and 4 " wide and perfect for trinkets, makeup brushes, a perfume bottle, pill box, or other treasures. Although not a larger sized dresser tray, this lovely item is clearly not designed as a celery or condiment dish would be as can be seen from the unglazed bottom. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and minimal gold wear (ca. 5%). It has the Lewis Strauss mark #1 (1890s-mid 1920s) and the Coiffe mark #2 (1891-1914), denoting this was very likely made in late 1890s-1914. This dish has a very elegant look and will make a perfect gift with which to bring delight to a special friend - or to yourself!
Please stop in again when you're traveling down Ruby Lane!
