The backstamp identifies this set as 'Victoria C& E Bone China, England' with jeweled crown logo; and the pattern number '711' in gold. Cartwright and Edwards had operated out of Borough Pottery since at least 1869 and by 1912 had taken over the Victoria Works, until 1955 when both Borough and Victoria were sold to Manor Engineering Co. Ltd. This set likely dates to the latter end of the range.
Cup measures 4 1/4" from handle to rim and stands 2 3/4" tall; saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter and 1" deep. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and minimal gold wear (ca. 5%). Thanks for stopping by!
