No matter where you choose to display this splendid dish, it will surely draw the attention of everyone who enters the room! The extremely complex mold of leaves, mushroom caps and snail shells are brushed with lots of gold to bring out the contours and details. The bowl has a lovely fluted, floral form simulating a large, stylized flower. The interior walls are painted in alternating panels of ice-pink and pale, robin's egg blue. Within the basin are delicate scrolls and garlands of flowers and leaves, done in gold. Stunning!

Measures 14" x 9 1/4" x 2 1/2". In excellent condition with minimal gold wear yo the ornately molded rim and sides (ca. 5%) and ca. 15% gold wear to the gold floral design in the central panel; no chips, cracks or crazing. The faded backstamp dates from 1875-1934; this particular bowl dates on the earlier side to ca. 1900. Please stop by again when you're in the Ruby Lane neighborhood!
