I have always loved "old" stuff. Aunts and Uncles were avid antique collectors in the midwest when there were still plenty of antiques to be found at barn sales and tag sales. Early on in our marriage I walked into an antique store while the children were across the street at a movie. The shop owner and myself hit it off right away and I went to work part time. It was the most valuable education anyone could ever receive in the antiques and collectibles business. Not only did I get a hands on education, I was lucky enough to be taught by a very knowledgeable Antique Dealer.

We still love to travel and a couple of times a year we hit the road and wander all over the northwest corner of the United States. We cannot pass up a Antique Mall or Shop without at least taking a quick look.

After a year and a half selling here on Ruby Lane, we are encouraged. The customers we've met are pleasant and enthusiastic. We want to make our experience here a success. We are excited and very pleased by the response. Winter is here almost. We have returned from a very successful buying trip throughout the northwest. We are adding fresh merchandise daily. We do not keep old merchandise in the shop. We move it on. If you see an item that has been on your wish list for awhile, email with your best offer. Many times, we accept that offer. However, please keep in mind that we don't acquire our merchandise for pennies. When making an offer, please be realistic. Offers of 50% off will not be accepted. Also, check our sale items, many times I mark them down drastically before removing them. I've had several emails asking "is this item available?" If it is in our shop and not marked sold, or sale pending, it is for sale and can be shipped quickly.

After many requests we want to add that yes, we do ship internationally on some items. Feel free to contact us to see if the item can be shipped internationally and we usually are happy to oblige.
