CLASSIC George Jones & Sons Faience Majolica Vase

This gorgeous blue earthenware vase measures roughly 15½ inches tall and 6 inches at the widest point. It is decorated with wild roses and leaves and has a very glossy finish. It was made by George Jones & Sons and the mark dates it to 1924 to 1951 when the company closed. The deep blue flower pattern is overlaid with touches of gold, as are the ornate handles and the swirled neck. It's in excellent condition with only some spots of wear on the bottom as pictured. The backstamp, also on the bottom, says STOKE - GJ & SONS - CRESCENT - FAIENCE. Shipping cost is based on 6 lbs.

While examining this beautiful vase this afternoon, I discovered what appears to be a glaze pop on the edge of the foot. It could be called a chip, except that it's very smooth. Because of this flaw, I'm reducing the price for the 1 and only time. For less than this, I'll continue to keep and enjoy it. Thank you.
