Circa 1900. Huge, striking, sand cast bronze bust of an aristocratic young man in Renaissance dress. This important work of art, is full of fine detail, from his elaborate clothing and jewelry to his fine feathered hat and small moustache. Gorgeous original patina, green and shaded brown on his clothing and hat and natural bronze on his skin. This work of art has an impact only a piece of this size and quality can achieve. Signed by the very well listed French sculptor, Ernest Rancoulet (1870-1915). Good original condition, mounted on what appears to be an original green marble base. 15" wide x 29 1/2" tall x 11" deep.
