Circa 1900. Rare, English Campaign Desk. Amazingly intact, Edwardian Era folding Campaign table. Elegant design and proportions, and still complete and functional. This fine desk retains all its original hardware that allows it to be closed tightly in a folded position and by pressing an original brass button opened and then locked in place as a desk with another original brass catch on it's under-side. The interior is the original grained leather, with various pockets and original ink-well, including the interior glass and cover. The only repair (pictured) is a re-gluing of a crack to the top of the leg where it attaches to the desk top. Solid Mahogany, all original finish, fine "as found" condition.  22" wide x 37" tall x 6" deep closed, 22" wide x 29 tall x 22" deep when open.
