Circa 1892. Very well done, military portrait of a 19thc British soldier in full uniform sitting astride his beautiful white horse. Oil on canvas, vivid colors and fine detail, this painting looks to have been professionally cleaned and restored in the recent past. Exceptionally fine, ornate, gilded gesso original frame in wonderful condition, enhances this "ready to hang" art work. Artist signed, Greer, and dated 1892. 23" high x 19" wide, over all, 16"3/4 x 12 1/2" art work alone.
