Vintage Sarah Coventry SOUTH SEAS Mother of Pearl Necklace & Earrings Set

This Sarah Coventry necklace and earrings set was titled "South Seas" and is from 1968. The plastic mother-of-pearl look pendant, reflecting the colors of the sea hangs from a slinky gold tone coil chain. The pendant is 1 1/2" long and 1" across. The chain is 18" long. The matching earrings have mother-of-pearl look teardrops, with gold tone accent beads and clip backs. 2" long and 1" across they shimmer with a luster coating. These were done in two sizes, and this is the larger set. The colors on the faux MOP are not as bright as in the picture, they just really shimmer when the flash hits them.

This set is part of the estate of Sarah Coventry dealer from the 50s and 60s. These were used as a part of his display at shows and were only worn as samples at the shows. Excellent condition.
