Set of Six Occupied Japan Silver-Plated Salt and Pepper Shakers in Original Box

This is a set including six silver-plated salt and pepper shakers, which come in the original box from the time period of 1945-1952. Each shaker measures 1 ¼ inches in height. The shakers have not been cleaned and have an age appropriate patina. Each shaker is incised on the bottom “Silver-Plated Made in Occupied Japan.” There is browning to the box and some wear. The top of the box is simply marked “Salt and Pepper” and the back of the box is stamped “Made in Occupied Japan.” A fine set for the Occupied Japan collector as well as the salt and pepper shaker collector.
