This is a very early stoneware pottery hot water pot circa 1915-1930’s. The bottom of the pot is marked in straight stenciled lettering “Bourne Denby” with a letter E incised towards the center bottom. The jug measures 6 ½ inches in height without the lid. It measures 5 inches in width including the handle and pouring spout. There are small holes for straining between the spout and pitcher. The pot is in excellent condition with minor manufacturer and glaze abnormalities. There is a lid present. ...
