Vintage Brooch Enamel on Silver Filigree Butterflies Around Large Coral Center

With its large coral center and side enameled butterflies, this brooch is a WOW piece. The coral has no chips, cracks, dents or dings and is not only wide (14mm) but also tall (13mm). On either side of the coral set is an enameled butterfly in lovely shades of blue, plum and green. There are a couple of wing tips that I cannot tell if there is a bit of enamel loss or if that is how the brooch was made. I suspect that it is how it was made because it is the exact same in each section effected. The back is clearly marked Silver but I cannot find any other marks. There is a patina on the gold wash over the silver that I have not polished, leaving that decision up to its new owner. The rolling safety clasp opens to the top and, although there is a slight bend to the pin stem, the clasp functions smoothly as it was designed to do. This beautiful brooch is is a touch over 2 inches long and a snidge over an inch tall. This piece is sure to become your next family heirloom!
