Greetings from Maine and from Lilly, the boss boxer. I hope you enjoy your visit!
It is in overall good vintage condition. The clasp has a spot on each side where somebody took a piece out at some point in the past. The clasp does close and hold the bracelet though. I had my jeweler look at it and he advised that it is functional but fragile. He said if it was his, he would put a modern clasp on it but I will leave that decision up to the new owner. There is something to be said for keeping an old and unusual piece with its original parts. The word sterling is partially readable on the back of each Kali link.
There is no other noticeable damage to this work of art. The backs of the Buddhas have a few minor dings as seen in the photos but there are no breaks, cracks or repairs. I was advised that this bracelet probably dates to the late 1800's. I have never seen a bracelet exactly like this one!
