I had a brown thrasher living in my berries last summer and this dear little pin reminds me of him. It is a hand crafted, plump bird sitting on a branch, created with care and an eye for detail. With a turquoise eye and wings spread open in flight, this brooch from Mexico is a fun piece to wear. It is Clearly marked with an eagle 3 and a partially worn A E inside the heart shaped M that is found on so many quality pieces of Mexican jewelry. This is without a doubt one of the daintiest pins that I have seen. It is 3/4" wide and a mere 3/8" tall. It shows excellent detail with the feathers of the bird clear and without wear.
