This 6" plate has a crisp image transfer printed in jet black with great three color polychrome hand painting, clobbering in shades of golden yellow, wine red and leaf green.

This exceptional plate has a classic rope type border with a hand applied red band followed by the entire alphabet surrounding the well off the plate. Three songbirds sit amongst the holly branches.

EXCELLENT CONDITION. Right out of my collection. Plates like these were given as gifts to children on special occasions and were used as educational tools, as well. A lovely addition to your ABC collection.
