Beautiful bedspread of blue and white quilt blocks or granny squares made with fine cotton crochet thread. Trimmed with scallops and fringe. Label attached to one corner reads Handmade by Lillian L. Pasternacki. Exquisitely crafted. Measures 66" x 106" with an additional 4" fringe on all sides. No holes, wear or breaks, crochet threads strong. I have washed carefully with oxiclean. Almost all of the white parts of the pattern are snowy bright white. There is one section 8" long with adjoining 4" tall surrounding the corner of a blue square that looks more ivory or ecru (different dye lot on thread), as is often the case in these old handmade ones, and there is one small section of 8 triple crochet chains patterns that are slightly rust stained, which doesn't detract from the overall. display of this wonderful piece.
