This is a terrific vintage hostess apron made with a heavy shiny taffeta plaid in rich greens, brown, yellow, orange and gold. There are two big brown satin ribbon bows with lace trim placed on front to mimic pockets. Waistband is 17 1/2" wide, and centered with a chevron point. 19" long, Generous 26" ties. A very dressy apron, in excellent condition. Perfect for Thanksgiving or any feast.

Round shape, large front pocket almost as big as the apron with Heiterer Himmel embroidered in red floss cross stitch in a fancy flourished type face. This great old times of an apron is made of what feels to me like soft homespun linen. Pocket and hem trimmed with beige bias tape. More embroidery below pocket.
