Vintage Clothing & Accessories:Antique:Purses:Beaded

Closely beaded with irregular shaped faceted but rounded heavy beads, this ladies reticule has a ruffled silk top gathered with drawstrings, and finished with fringed loops at the bottom. The ends of the ribbon drawstrings are knotted, but the ribbons have frayed and have come apart. A few of the loops of beaded fringe are missing from one corner. Measures 9" x 5 1/2". I'd date this from late 19th to early 20th century.
