Calypso - named for the lovely sea nymph who fell in love with Odysseus and kept him with her for seven years, these earrings are gorgeous. Featuring a set of beautiful pink amethyst briolettes (similar in color to the orchid named for the nymph - Calypso bulbosa) that weigh just under 8 carats each, the earrings carry an ancient air with them. Wired on gold-fill to ornately granulated and antiqued 22 karat gold over sterling silver beads, the stones are sparking and clear.

The earrings drop 1.12" from gold-filled ball posts and ship in a gift box.
