Exq! Moser Green Glass Vase Enamel Swan Lake Medallion

A very elegant and superbly hand painted green glass vase from Moser, late 1800's. The raised medallion is enamelled with a painting of swans, gracefully gliding across a lake with coral bells and other foliage in both foreground and background. There is depth to the painting due to thick enalmel work, as well as perspective. The quality of the painting is exceptional. The vase is decorated as well with gilded embellishments surrounding the medallion, the rims (bottom and top) and there is a marvelous gilt cartouche on the back of the vase. This is a very unusual piece in absolutely pristine condition! Dimensions: 10"H & 3" diameter. Condition: Excellent. If you look hard you may find a place or two with minor gilt loss. It is etched with the numeral 2 on the bottom.
