This is a vintage "CORNING WARE ELECTRIC SKILLET MODEL P-12-ES". It is also
marked on the bottom "115V. 1400W. A.C. ONLY DO NOT EMERSE IN WATER CAUTION: USE
WITH WALL BASE OR RANGE RECEPTACLE ONLY". The topsides have handles for carrying
or moving. The skillet has a heat indicator light and a heat range turning dial
that goes from 200 to 425 degrees. Next to the control is a list of different
foods with cooking temperatures. There is also a list of heat ranges for WARM,
SIMMER, LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH. It is also marked CORNING WARE ELECTROMATIC
SKILLET". It measures 15" wide, almost 10 ½ " deep and 3 ¼ " high. The cord is 66"
long. The metal bottom has some scratches. The white top has
scratches and wear from use. These were made from 1960 to 1965. With it is the
casserole that has the Blue Cornflower emblem. It has a lot of utensil scratches on the inside. The bottom measures 9 ½ " by 9 ½
" and it is 2" high. It fits on the heating base so it does not slide off. The
clear glass cover is marked "3-A". There are no chips or cracks. I tested it
and it is in very good working condition. I am including a removable handle
marked "CORNING WARE PAT. NO. 2,854,279". It could also be used as a hot plate
or warming tray. There are 9 pictures for viewing. Buyer pays shipping based on
14 pounds sent from New York zip code 14873.
