This is a small vintage metal grater has a heart shaped wing nut that clamps to a table. It has a wood turning handle. The frame is an off white painted cast iron marked “A.S. 805”. There is a steel hopper for pushing in cheese, nuts, vegetables or other foods to be ground. The round grating cylinder can be removed by holding the cylinder and counter turning the handle. It measures approx. 7 ¾ ” tall, 2 3/8” wide and 5” deep with the handle. The hopper is 1 ½ “ by 1 ¾ “. It has some surface rust spots, scratches, wear, and paint loss from much use.
