Peter Gray’s Corp. Candy Case Cooler Cambridge Mass. Chromed Copper

This is a vintage box marked in raised letters “GRAY’S CANDY CASE COOLER” on the 8 ½ by 12 ½ “ cover. The bottom measures 9 by 13” and has a burnt bottom tray showing the copper where the chrome was worn off seen in the last picture. There is an outer metal box with 2 layers of holes that measures 8 by 12” and is almost 7” tall. The inner box is 7 by 11” and is 5 ½ “ tall. The top cover and inside bottom tray have wear and some green corrosion spots. On an Internet search I found these were made by the Peter Gray Corp. Cambridge Mass. I found at another site that candy was placed in the inside box then the larger box with holes was filled with ice which melted into the drip tray. It is in good condition for collecting, use or display. It is priced according to condition. There are 9 pictures for viewing.
