This is an old cast iron Sprinkler marked “MODEL H-1 RAIN KING CHICAGO FLEXIBLE SHAFT CO CHICAGO U.S.A.” on one side. The other side is marked “PATENTS DES. 78897 CAN. 9802 OTHER PATS. PEND.” The U.S. Design Patent is from 1930. Near the cast iron rotary top is marked “Rain King” on both sides. The rotating top ends are plated. The entrance for the water is also plated brass and has the rubber gasket. The top rotates freely and air goes through the nozzles. I did not try to take it apart or test it due to the weather. It is painted green with paint loss and surface rust. It measures 7 ½ ” across at the sprinkler top and is almost 11” tall. The bottom measures 5 ¾“ by 6 ¾ “. There are 9 pictures for viewing.
