General Electric Radio GE 8 Transistor Model P-916 in Case

This is a vintage portable radio marked “GE GENERAL ELECTRIC 8 transistor” on the beige plastic case. The inside is marked GENERAL ELECTRIC GE P916”. Also on the inside it is marked “TWO AA PENLITE CELLS-EVEREADY NO. 1015 OR EQUIVALENT 455 KC I.F.” There is also Service information at 1001 Broad St., Utica N.Y. It has some wear on the bottom where it opens and some light scratches. With it is the original carrying case with good snap and handle. The case has some stains. It was tested and is in good working condition. I even tested the earphone slot which works after some try’s. One part inside is marked JAPAN. It is in used good condition.
