Pearlescence and chatoyance predominate, with occasional ivory, amber, linens, china, and select "smalls".
Bordering the front face are four rows of the fine geometric engraving known as "engine turning", and although done with a special machine the process was tricky and required great operator skill and timing or expensive work could easily be ruined. The center panel is hand engraved with a looped belt and buckle.
Latch and hinge work perfectly, the inner cavity lips are faced with strips of ivory veneer, and the lid and top portion of the card compartment are lined with cobalt blue felt. Everything is clean and absolutely pristine!
A stunning little case from which to produce your business card, with a slight flourish, at the next convention!
