This necklace was inspired by the colors of the beautiful American handmade lampwork beads. The off white and green tones reminded me of the colors of Ireland and the pottery of the Dingle peninsula.

I have used wonderful handmade ceramic beads* made in Greece in the same green tones and to add a little sparkle placed a sterling silver bead cap between each bead.

To complete the design I used Hill Tribe Silver** chain and a Hill Tribe Silver toggle clasp. This makes the necklace very secure and easy to fasten!

* Mykonos Ceramic Beads are hand made then kiln fired, dipped in copper and fired again, then either enameled (as the ones used in this piece), or dipped in 22 K gold or pure silver and fired again. These are very beautiful and sturdy beads made in the ancient traditions of Greek bead making.

** Hill Tribe Silver is 95-99% pure silver
