Frederick Cozzens painted all of the ships in the US Navy around 1892. He produced a series of chromolitho's in 1893 and 1894 which showcased all the vessels in various places and combinations. It is called the White Series because most of the ship hulls are white. There about 23 chromo's in the series. This one of BOSTON and BALTIMORE has been uniquely framed. The frame size is 14x18 and the image is 7 1/2x 12. The condition of this chromo is excellent. I can have others (22) framed in a similar manner. The conditions of the other vary from pristine to very good. Index: marine art, artist, painting, painter, decorator, nautical.
