Unusual Occupied Japan Cat Figurine with Blue Bow

This is an unusual cat figurine with funny whiskers and a blue bow. It is marked on the bottom made in occupied Japan dating it to 1945 - 1952. It stands 2 1/2" high & is in excellent condition with only minor paint loss. Any streaks in the pictures are from the lighting and not imperfections on the item.
