From Catseye Vintage is this fabulous strapless black rayon velvet wiggle dress accented with an amazing ruched gold lame cummerbund and pleated origami bow accented with an attached rhinestone embellishment as pictured. Circa 1980s.

This exact same dress was worn recently to an event by Paris Hilton.

The bodice is completely lined with soft rayon - the skirt is unlined with a 6-1/2" center back concealed walking slit.

The bodice is boned at the sides, front and back for a firm fit.

Zips up the center back with a well working 13" nylon zipper.

Classic New Look styling with beautifully fitted bodice, nipped waist and fitted wiggle skirt.

Designer label ~ "Dave & Johnny by Joseph Lara". Tagged "100% Rayon ~ Made in the U.S.A.".

CONDITION:

Near mint with no issues at all ~ No stains, odors, missing threads, discoloration, fading, or holes. The rhinestone embellishment is original ~ no darkened or missing stones.

Appears to have been rarely, if ever worn.

I'd say this dress would fit a modern medium to smallish large best, however, please go by the measurements below, leaving room for fit and comfort.
