Our Vintage Dresses Were Recently Featured in Antique Week Magazine!!
From a San Francisco estate is this charming rhinestone and faux pearl embellished gold tone metal pirate's chest brooch with a pendant bale on the reverse side. Circa 1950s or early 1960s.
This highly three dimensional gold tone metal chest is cut on a diagonal giving an appearance of depth. The chest is very detailed with grain in the "wood" as pictured.
The partially open lid is full of multi-color rhinestones and faux pearls which spill down the front of the brooch as pictured.
MEASUREMENTS ~ 1-2/4" Tall x 7/8" Wide
DESIGNER ~ Unsigned but of a very high quality.
Fastens with a well working "safety" c clasp.
Condition ~ Near Mint with no issues. All rhinestones and faux pearls are secure with no scratches, chips or other issues. The faux pearls are perfect ~ the marks in the pictures is merely light reflected by the ruby colored rhinestones. The gold tone metal is in excellent condition with no issues.
The back fastener and the pendant bale are securely fastened and are original to the piece.
A lovely and versatile piece as it can be worn as a brooch or wear it as a pendant with any necklace.
A wonderful addition to any collection of vintage treasure chest jewelry or a lovely gift for a special friend or loved one.
