SOLD Stunning Ruby Red Hand Blown Art Glass Decanter & Stopper, Crackle Glass, Mid Century.

This simply fantastic example of mid century West Virginia art glass was produced circa 1950's or 1960's by one of the top Glass Houses of the era. I've been unable to definitively identify the maker but there is a very similar piece shown in the Crackle Glass book and listed as a Bischoff piece. On the other hand Blenko and I think also Rainbow were both known to make pieces with this ball topped flame stopper shape so they are also possible manufacturers of this piece.

This decanter or bottle is make of rich and vibrant Ruby Red crackle glass and comes complete with it's original stopper. It measures 10" tall including the stopper, and 5"; in diameter. A nice rounded shape that is very pleasing to the eye this piece would brighten up a dim corner of your home or collection in an instant!

In excellent condition the bottle has no chips, nicks or cracks at all. The stopper may have a thin flake ship off of the bottom, but I'm not sure, it may just have been made that way. It is also, otherwise, in excellent condition with no damage.
