Jeannette Glass Co produced the Doric pattern at the end of the Depression era, from 1935 until 1938. It is one of the much loved patterns from the era and while this piece has resided in my own collection for several years, it is time to pass it on to a new loving home.

This piece is a low cake stand or serving platter. It measures 10 1/4" in diameter and sits about 3/4" above the table on 3 small feet. Perfect for serving a delectable cake or a platter of sandwiches this piece is in good condition. It does have on chip on the inside of one of the feet, but this is not at all visible when the plate is in use or on display. There are no other nicks, chips or cracks and little wear from age.

The Doric pattern is a wonderful design with large panels topped by alternating blank squares and squares embedded with snowflakes. This piece is sure to shine in any home or collection.
