Stunning & Scarce Dugan Windflower Blue Opalescent Ruffled Bowl 1907.

How proud I am to be able to bring to you this fine example of Dugan's Windflower pattern. The Pattern was produced circa 1907 and is better known in Carnival Glass but is also occasionally seen in plain colored glass. It is extremely rare to find it in this beautiful electric blue opalescent coloring.

The pattern has become a favourite of mine over the years, there are two charming floral sprays in the center of the bowl, with a stippled back ground. Around this is a ring of squares, like an eternal ladder. From this the opalescent rim bursts outwards to the scalloped and ruffled edging.

The bowl measures a cool 9 1/8" in diameter and stands 2 1/2" tall to the highest ruffle. It is in beautiful condition with no chips, nicks or cracks at all and only the slightest wear from age. It would be hard to find a better example to add to your collection.
