Seth Thomas Pillar & Scroll Clock

This is a very nice Seth Thomas pillar & scroll wood works clock. It is in excellent condition with some minor restorations. The clock is all original with the exception of the finials and the paint on the lower tablet. Both the top and bottom glasses are original and are held in by the original putty. The finials are correct replacements. All the glue blocks on the top and bottom are original. The scroll tips have never been broken, nor have the feet. The mahogany case has a great old possibly original finish. It still has the original dust covers over the pulleys. The 30 hour wood movement is running and striking. No damage or broken teeth to the movement. The tablet was painted by Tom Moberg and is outstanding. The dial as two beehives and a floral motif. Overall this is a excellent example of a 1820's Seth Thomas Pillar & Scroll with minor tasteful restorations. If all original these will bring in the $4000 dollar range.
