Fabulous Tiffany & Co. Five Tube Mahogany Tall Case Grandfather Clock

Here is a awesome grandfather clock retailed by Tiffany & Co. The Elliott movement is unsigned but is of the highest quality and is certainly an Elliott movement. All five tubular bells are signed Walter Durfee Providence, Rhode Island with a patent date of 1887. The dial is signed Tiffany & Co. The movement has been completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled and new cable installed. It is in good running order and will give many years of trouble free service. The three weight movement strike on the tubes every quarter hour playing westminster chimes, and strike the hour at the top of the hour. The dial is excellent with a silvered chapter ring and fancy pierced brass spandrels. The revolving moon dial has the original paint and is also in excellent condition. The mahogany case is superb with a few dings on the feet and on the molding on the lower right side of the waist. The bottom door has a nice thick beveled glass. The hood has glass sides. The clock is all original and dates from around 1900.
