Fabulous French 19th Century Mahogany Mantle Clock

This is a fantastic French clock from the 1870's. It is in excellent original condition. The mahogany case is outstanding. The carvings on the feet and the door are superb. The painted scene has some paint flaking but it is in original untouched condition. The porcelain dial has a chip on the top above the 12, it is not hardly noticed with the door closed. The movement is has been cleaned and oiled and is in good running order. This is a large cock measuring 27" tall. The top is removable for easy access to the movement. The back door has a working lock. The ball on top has hand painted zodiac symbols. Please look at all the pictures to see the beauty of this rare and elegant clock.
