Old Vintage Sterling Silver Mexican Face Belt

Neat old pre eagle Mexican belt with faces within the links. There are 14 faces. The only mark is Sterling Mexico and it was made before the late 1940s. It is an interesting belt with detailed faces and dangles. Each face link is united by 4 oblong links. Each face section including the dangles measures 1 and 1/4 inches top to bottom by 3/4 inches across not counting the o links. The belt measures 26 inches in length and 25 and 3/4 inches when hooked on the clasp. You need either a small waist or you can be inventive and add a Mexican belt buckle that would go well and give the piece some extra length. It has an old hook closure. Condition is excellent and nothing is missing but you may want to give it a cleaning in areas but this is not necessary. It was hard to photo due to size and I have included pictures of each section laid flat. Weight is 123.8 grams or 4.36 ounces.
