SOLD Vintage Earlier Mexican Amethyst Silver Link Bracelet

Spectacular vintage Mexican bracelet. It carries 11 approx. 9.5 mm genuine natural amethyst stones set in a bold, large link design. I suspect this piece is 1940s and quite possibly even earlier. The links are large and the piece makes a dramatic statement. It carries an older slide in pin style clasp. The bracelet measures just a hair over 1 and 1/4 inches wide. It measures 7 and 3/4 inches when clasped. The mark is Silver Mexico as seen on earlier pieces. The condition is excellent. Everything you see in the stones are inclusions that are natural in the amethyst. The bracelet has a very uneven old patina. Some links are soldered shut and a few at the end are not but this is the way it was made - possibly leaving some unsoldered for the purpose of making it smaller if desired and all are heavy and secure. The clasp is tight and secure. The piece weighs 69.2 grams and has tested as sterling. It is a rare find.
