Expertly tooled and inlaid, substantial Navajo ring. Beautiful inlay artwork depicts a bird ( I believe he is a cardinal or woodpecker) in a tree done in onyx, coral and turquoise against a mother of pearl background. The sides are nicely tooled and the ring has a nice deep aged patina. Circa 1950s 1970s. It has tested as sterling.Signed RB Navajo. I show several RBs in my book . This style of RB lettering was used by Richard and Rita Begay as well as Robert Becenti-- all of the Navajo tribe. It's a great old ring.

Dimensions:

This is a heavy, well made piece. It weighs 32 grams - extremely substantial for a ring. It is a size 11. The face is large measuring 1 and 1/8 inches by 7/8 inches.
