My husband and I have been in the jewelry business for 6 years. It is our passion .... our business is based on our love for old jewelry. We strive to always offer unique and quality collectible jewelry.

We have over 20 jewelry reference books that I use to help research and evaluate the items that we put up for auction and sale... In addition I spend countless hours doing Internet research and I get evaluations from others in the business when necessary. My husband prides himself on the time spent packaging and insuring that your item arrives to you safely and in a timely manner.

We are selective about our items that we list on Ruby Lane. As a collector myself, I do not believe in loading our shop with items that I feel do not have some merit. Each item we list must have something..... either an important maker or origin, a special or unique look, a value in history or precious metal or it must be a a highly collectible piece of jewelry .... our other items go to local auctions.
