This recipe book features recipes using dried peas, beans, lentils and pear;barley, products of the Washburn-Wilson Seed Co of Moscow, Idaho. The copyright date for this 24 page book is 1942. The book is 5 x 6 3/4 inches and is in very good condition. The stapled binding is tight and the pages are clean and free of spatters from use. The pages have liberal black and white photographs of selected dishes from the booklet. There are also pages with nutritional information and cooking tips. The color front cover features a formal place setting with split pea soup.
